Admissions at The Flame is more than paperwork. It's the beginning of a Spirit-led partnership between your family and a community committed to helping your child grow in faith, wisdom, and purpose.

The Flame is a cooperative — every family who joins is a partner, not just a participant. Before applying, it helps to know what you're stepping into:

  • You share our Statement of Faith and are committed to raising your children in the Christian tradition.
  • You see yourself as your child's primary teacher, with The Flame as an enrichment and discipleship partner.
  • You're ready to participate in the community — not simply drop off and pick up.
  • You believe your child's education and spiritual formation should be connected, not separated.
  • You want your child to be known, challenged, encouraged, and rooted in Christ.

How It Works — Step by Step.

Seven clear steps. You'll know exactly where you are and what's next at every stage.

Attend an Information Meeting

All prospective families attend an information meeting before applying. This is your chance to understand the heart of The Flame, ask every question you have, and prayerfully decide if this community is the right fit for your family.

Submit Your Application

Complete and submit the application online. After submitting, you'll receive a prompt to pay the application and interview fee. Applications are not reviewed until the fee is received.

Fee: $50 first child · $25 each additional child · $75 family maximum · Non-refundable

Family Interview

Our team will reach out to schedule your family interview. This step is relational. We're not just reviewing paperwork — we're learning about your family and prayerfully discerning fit together.

Acceptance Notification

Within three weeks of your interview, you'll hear from us. Accepted, waitlisted, or if placement isn't currently possible — every family is communicated with honestly and with care.

Secure Your Child's Spot

Upon acceptance, pay the supply fee within 3 business days to hold your child's place in the program.

Supply fee: $200 for Sparks/Elementary · $150 for Discipleship · Non-refundable

Complete Registration + Sign the Handbook

Pay the registration fee and receive access to the Family Handbook to review and sign.

Reg. fee: $500 for Sparks · $1,250 for Elementary and Discipleship · Non-refundable

Background Check + Parent Portal Access

After the handbook is submitted, the background check fee is collected per parent. Then your family receives full access to the Parent Portal — schedules, curriculum, events, payments, and everything you need to start the year well.

Background fee: $20 per parent
After You Enroll

You're Not Just on a Roster. You're Part of the Family.

Once enrolled, your family receives access to the Parent Portal — your hub for schedules, curriculum resources, upcoming events, documents, payments, and onboarding information.

The Flame team will walk you through next steps so you know what to expect, what's due, and how to prepare for the school year.

We'll take care of the onboarding. You take care of showing up.
